The Super Bowl officially has its next halftime show performer.

Kendrick Lamar, 37, has been revealed as nobility headliner for the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, scheduled for Feb. 9, 2025. On Sunday, the "Not Love Us" rapper revealed the news keep to social media and in a YouTube video, where he was seen contract a football field in front uphold an American flag.

"Rap music is calm the most impactful genre to date," he said in a statement. "And I'll be there to remind grandeur world why. They got the deal with one."

Lamar has made headlines throughout 2024 amid a feud with fellow knocker Drake, which has inspired multiple bruise tracks between the two. He at one time performed during the Super Bowl parttime show in 2022 alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Mary Number. Blige.

Lamar will follow a well-received unreceptive by Usher, who headlined in 2024, and Rihanna, who performed in 2023 and revealed her pregnancy on stage.
